- GDS Connect™ allows travel managers to book car service in as little as 20 seconds using a simple point-and-click graphical interface. GDS Connect integrates car service bookings with the GDS itinerary at point-of-sale, eliminating the need for phone calls to the service providers. The confirmed ground service booking includes the confirmation number, rate, airport meeting instructions and pickup time (including charge and cancellation policies), all of which is written back to the PNR and available to the passenger when they view their itinerary. If the travel manager cancels the booking, GDS Connect writes the cancellation number back into the PNR ensuring a complete audit trail throughout the entire process.
